I don't quite get the appeal of Twitter myself, but I do LOVE Facebook. We have friends and family very widespread, so it's nice to be able to just keep up-to-date on the little parts of people's lives with just a couple of lines.

We just got home from a weekend of snowmobiling and I will say at first I was very skeptical of the whole bed and breakfast idea, both myself and my boyfriend are big fans of privacy. However I have been made a believer that they are 100 times more inviting than any hotel. I am a very picky person and I require things to be a certain way in order to be comfortable and for once I have found a place that lives up to my standards. After arriving at the Admiral Peary House I went through our gorgeous room(we stayed in The North Pole) with a fine tooth comb and I could not find a speck of dirt or dust. When I say the place is clean I mean it. Even above the doors and in the corner of the shower was clean.
But all in all this is not what made someone else’s home comfortable for us. Hilary and Derrek are by far two of the most pleasant people I have ever met. Their personalities are so easy going and kind. The home is inviting and not overwhelming and they were open to answer whatever we asked. In addition to personal baths in each room (they offered a tour of all the rooms when I had a few questions) most rooms had gas stoves and no room overlapped another so any noise was very minimal.
Also the kitchen is open so you get to watch Derrek create the most amazing three course breakfast each morning. He makes it seem easy but I wouldn’t wish an open kitchen on anyone.
While still their we were so impressed we inquired about the distance to the fair grounds and we are contemplating going back for Fryeburg Fair with our 6 year old son and they had a ton of information to give us and options for staying their so we would be comfortable with him.
My only complaint that I have is I hope someday to have them offer a dinner option so we may get the option to try more of Derrek's amazing creations.

Dear Hilary and Derrek,

Thanks again for the hospitality you showed us during our visit. We felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after our stay. Your warm smiles, interesting conversation, and attention to our needs was truly appreciated. We will become regular guests at the Inn and hope to visit soon.

The food was great and the pampering was wonderful! Kevin and I need to thank Lauren and Mike again for introducing the
Admiral Peary to us. I'm sure you'll see them again after their travels. (Lauren is now on a cruise to Mexico and then to Hawaii). Poor Mike is working and finishing up his Masters.
Then they are off to Barcelona when Lauren returns.

Thanks and Happy 5th birthday!!!!!
